All organisations registering agrochemicals need accurate and timely data generated from methods which are validated to comply with the requirements of the Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA), New Zealand’s Food Safety Authority (ACVM) and other international regulatory agencies (EMEA). The vital aspect in meeting deadlines for product registration is the use of experienced field staff and laboratory services.

ADVANCED GLP
Advacned Analytical Australia is an independant OECD GLP (Principles of Good Laboratory Practice) recognised contract laboratory specialising in the analysis of veterinary and agrichemical residues and ecotoxicological testing in animal, crop, water and soil samples for registration by various national and international regulators including Australia (APVMA - Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority), New Zealand (ACVM - Agricultural Compounds and Veterinary Medicines) and EU (EMA - European Medicines Agency)

CAPABILITIES:

We offer the following testing services:
Analysis of Samples from In-life Animal Phase Studies

All organisations registering agrochemicals need accurate and timely data generated from methods which are validated to comply with the requirements of the Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA), New Zealand’s Food Safety Authority (ACVM) and other international regulatory agencies (EMEA). The vital aspect in meeting deadlines for product registration is the use of experienced field staff and laboratory services.

Our residue testing laboratory is equipped with the latest technology to ensure that crucial deadlines are met. State of the art equipment includes:

UPLC/MS/MS (Ultra Performance Liquid Chromatography – Triple Quadrupole)
HPLC (High Performance Liquid Chromatography with both conventional and Acquity UV/Visible and Fluorescence detectors)

Advanced Analytical Australia is continually improving to keep pace with developments in analytical chemistry and changes in regulatory requirements. We hold accreditation to ISO/IEC 17025 for the analysis of veterinary chemicals and to conduct studies in compliance with the OECD Principles of Good Laboratory Practice.

By using Advanced Analytical Australia for your product registration you can be sure that you will have a dedicated research/analytical team committed to providing the best service possible.

Veterinary Drug Residues
High quality methodology in the analysis of veterinary drugs either in bioequivalence or tissue depletion studies for the following classes of veterinary drugs and metabolites were developed:
Benzimidazoles (fenbendazole, fenbendazole sulphone, oxfendazole, ethyl-oxfendazole and mebendazole)
Closantel
Levamisole
Praziquantel
Macrocyclic lactones (avermectin, ivermectin, doramectin, moxidectin and eprinomectin)
Triclabendazole and metabolites as keto-triclabendazole
2-desoxyparaherquamide
4-hydroxychlorothalonil
Triflumuron
Spinosad
Florfenicol (in plasma only)
Cyromazine and melamine
Deltamethrin
Oxytetracycline and others

In addition we can also determine the following veterinary drugs in milk:
Triclabendazole and metabolites as keto-triclabendazole
Macrocyclic lactones (avermectin, ivermectin, doramectin and eprinomectin)
4-hydroxychlorothalonil and others

Animal Feed Testing
We have developed methodology for the analysis of animal feeds for the following veterinary drugs:
Macrocyclic lactones (avermectin and ivermectin)
Ionophores (monensin)

Method Development / Validation
Advanced Analytical Australia has the experience and capabilities to develop and validate analytical methods to determine veterinary drugs and pesticides (including metabolites) in animal tissues, plasma, milk, eggs, wool and crops. These methods can be validated to satisfy the requirements of
Company protocols
APVMA guidelines (including stability requirements)
ACVM guidelines (including GLP validation and stability requirements)
European regulatory agencies
VICH guidelines
